The current hardware proves the emergency trigger experience; it is not a finished production ring.

Brain + BLE

XIAO nRF52840

Runs trigger logic and sends SOS signal over Bluetooth Low Energy to the Android app.

Touch

TTP223 touch sensor

Detects the triple-tap gesture used to trigger SOS without opening the phone.

Feedback

Coin vibration motor

Buzzes to confirm that the SOS trigger was sent.

Driver

2N2222A + diode + resistor

Safely drives the vibration motor from the board.

Power

LiPo battery + slide switch

Makes the prototype portable after USB-C testing.

Current hardware statement

The wearable is currently a working breadboard prototype, not a production ring. It proves the trigger experience: triple-tap touch trigger → SOS → confirmation buzz.

The production Guardian Ring is a later hardware stage that will require a custom PCB, enclosure, battery optimization, haptics, certification and manufacturing partnership.
